Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream Is A Dream Cream

Lala Retro Whipped Cream by Drunk Elephant is a relatively new player in the world of skincare but it has already gained a cult following. The Drunk Elephant line strives to use only necessary and skin-loving ingredients, nothing frivolous or worrisome. I was already a lover of the brand’s C-Firma Day Serum so was eager to track Lala Retro down and find  out all I could.

Skincare Should Be Fragrance Free. Period!

When I went to Sephora to try Lala Retro out I was relieved to discover that it is fragrance-free. I am a firm believer that fragrance does not belong on your skin, especially your face. Including it in a formula offers absolutely no skincare benefits. Fragrance in skincare only increases the chances of irritation so it’s always better to leave it out.  I didn’t end up buying the full-size and instead opted for their travel size. The only downside to their travel size is that it doesn’t come in air-tight packaging like the full-size.

Lala Retro Is Great For Sensitive Skin But Still Feels Lux

Lala Retro is a great option if your skin is sensitive or reactive. True to the name  it really does have a whipped consistency. It feels very soothing when first applied but contains a lot more interesting ingredients than most conventional gentle creama marketed to sensitive skin. The main function of Lala Retro is to seriously hydrate, moisturize, and restore skin. Drunk Elephant seems to understand that one of the most important products for skin health is a good moisturizer and Lala definitely does the job. It’s not for oily skin but those very dry skin might want add a couple drops of oil over top.
