A facial mist is great for on-the-go especially when in areas with dry air like public transit and planes. The best thing about making a your own facial mist is that there is a lot of room to improvise from how long to steep leaves and other ingredients to include.
What You’ll Need
- Dried Rose Buds
- Filtered Water (Brought to a Boil)
- A Small Spray Bottle
- Liquid Vitamin E (From Health food Store or Drug Store)
- Alcohol (At Least 70% Strength)
- A Mug to brew leaves in
Just brew the rosebuds the way you would brew any tea. While you are letting the elixir brew, put some alcohol in the little spray bottle, shake vigorously, pour out leftover contents, and let sit until thoroughly evaporated. Before you put the brewed floral water in the bottle, put a few drops of liquid vitamin E to help preserve the integrity of the mist and to add some antioxidant punch.
