Tarte Amazonian Clay Nude Blushes

From left to right, Exposed, Seduce, and Dazzled

I am a blush junkie. If I could only have one makeup item blush would be it. I love the glow it gives me and love how vibrant it makes me look. Yet, I’m on the fair side so can’t be too heavy-handed with my application for dread of looking like a clown. That is why I am a nude blush convert. I still get a nice glow but it looks softer and more put together. One of my favorte brands for nude blushes is Tarte. Tarte does blush well and their nudes are no exception! Below are descriptions for my 3 go-to nudes blushes.

Exposed has hit cult status. I saw it all over social media before I ever touched it. The shade is so versatile.  Exposed is pink enough for me to wear as a blush but has a warmth that makes it great for soft contouring. I can wear it anywhere; work, out with friends, running errands. It is just so easy to wear. I really cannot believe I did’t get my hands on this blush sooner.

Seduce is less pink than Exposed but is still classified as a “rosy nude.”  I’m hesitant to say it has a slight orangey undertone because that makes it sound bright but, believe me, it is just as easy to wear. It is just as versatile as Exposed but depending on your skin tone or preference you may opt for Seduce.

Dazzled is a soft rose with an ever-so-slight dash of sparkle. Dazzled might be the pinkest of the bunch but it, like Exposed or Seduce, is still very subdued. The sparkle in this makes it perfect for evening looks but as I mentioned it’s subtle so day wear is definitely okay.

Have you tried any of the Tarte nudes or any other nude blushes?

    1. Honestly, I have noticed that some tend to be hard while other aren’t. I’m not sure what that’s about but I am not a fan of dry, hard blushes…especially at 35 dollars a pop. My Exposed has hardened a tad but my brush still easily picks up a good amount of product.
